Wisconsin Master Gardener

Wisconsin Extension Master Gardener Onboarding is an online course for individuals wishing to become a Wisconsin Extension Master Gardener. Joining the program requires you to take a series of two courses.

Course #1 is participating in an approved learning opportunity from the Wisconsin Extension Horticulture Program called ‘Foundations in Gardening’. This course is from September 7, 2025 – December 6, 2025 and is full for 2025.

Course #2 completing Onboarding. 2026 Course Dates are February 16 – March 29, 2026. Early Bird registration is $100, Dec. 9, 2025 – January 15, 2026. Regular registration is $125 from January 16 – February 8, 2026.

The UW-Madison Extension Horticulture Program is excited to announce the 2026 lineup for Ask Your Gardening Question: LIVE, a FREE webinar series for Wisconsin gardeners. Whether you have questions about plant problems, diseases, insects, or the general care of plants in and around your home, our seasoned panel of experts will share helpful, actionable advice and online resources for you to become a more successful gardener.
